The beat goes on at Rydal Park.....

Rydal Park had it's first Heartbeat rally on Tuesday November 16. The Rydal Heart team re-inforced the 5ft/10ft rule. When staff came into the rally, if they practiced the 5ft/10ft rule when they entered the rally, they received a chance to win a WAWA gift card.
There were stations set up encouraging staff to utilize the(1) Pause for Praise system,(2) to nominate fellow employees for distinguished awards, (3) encouraging staff to write down things that they would like to share in te Heart newsletter,(4) spin the wheel, answer a question about the heart model and win a prize, and (5) write your name on a heart and place it on the 10foot ruler. Also , we asked the staff to sign a commitment board that they will practice the 5ft/10ft rule every day.
100 employees attended the event which was held from 6:30am-8am and 2:30pm-4pm. 98 employees received a chance at the gift cards. There were 2 winners of $15.00 gift cards. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we are looking to have another great rally in December.
Rydal also completed their Heart training inservices on November 17. We held (2) two evening classes in which 56 individuals received training. So the beat goes on....
