We have had a very busy May . We have had 8 units turn over which included 4 death. This is the sad part of of jobs. The staff is very aware that we need to keep the census up and help others find new homes that have waited a long time. I know we all have these months and work very hard and help people find new homes in our facilities. I do want to recognize the over and above job that the staff here at Grace Court has done keeping the units moving, welcoming new residents, comforting residents and families and helping those that need to move to higher levels of care adjust to new circumstance. With all this our census is 99% but, we are awaiting 3 more moving to another level of care and one resident is on hospice.
I could not be prouder, more inpressed and have more respect for a group of people than I do for my staff and their dedication not only to Presby but to current residents, families of those that have past and the welcome that they always give to the new residents.
They are STARS in every sense of the word, my heart if full of respect for them. We always celebrat the staff in june and this June should be quite an event.
